Income Tax Shop
A redesign for a virtual tax practice, with a custom plugin that lets clients anywhere in the country send their tax documents securely.
Visit Live WebsiteThe client
Income Tax Shop is a virtual tax preparation business. Clients are served entirely by phone and online, with no in-person appointments, so the practice can work with people anywhere in the country.
Websario is redesigning the website to earn the trust of clients who will never meet their preparer face to face, and is building a custom WordPress plugin that gives them a secure way to send their tax documents.
Built on
WordPress
WordPress gives the business a reliable, familiar platform it can keep updated as services and tax seasons change, and the flexibility to run a custom plugin for secure document uploads.
The challenge
Build trust without an office to walk into.
With no front desk and no in-person meetings, the website has to do the work of a first visit. People need to feel confident before they share personal financial information with a preparer they only know by phone, and they need a safe, simple way to send their documents.
Our approach
01
Make a virtual practice feel established
A modern, professional design built on the business's own logo kit, so the practice looks credible from the first screen.
02
Design around phone and online service
Services and calls to action are organized for clients who will work with the practice remotely, wherever they live.
03
Make sending documents secure
A custom WordPress plugin, Income Tax Shop Secure Document Upload, sends client files to a restricted Google Drive folder controlled by the practice.
